Well after I do yoga today, I will have finished up my fifth week of P90X! Still loving it!
We are back to the weights this week, and I upped my weights a little too. I am sore though! I haven't really been sore in the past with this program but I am pretty sore today. Not can't move sore, but still sore. I did Stretch X after Kenpo X yesterday just work out some of that tightness. It helped a lot.
I'm also grouchy! I'm thinking it's detoxing off this sugar or something because I am so cranky! And I'm sleepy. Anyone else experience these symptoms after swearing off white sugar? I've still been eating other sweeteners. For instance, I eat Chobani greek yogurt but it has a natural sweetener in it. There is also a sweetener in the peanut butter I use but again it is an all natural one. I eat the Smart Balance PB. But other than that, really not eating any sweeteners. Oh, I've had stevia in my oatmeal today too. And of course, I eat fruit which has the most natural sugar of all! :) But no chemically processed white sugar. I'm sure I will start feeling better soon so I will just cling to that!
I'm proud of myself for my choices yesterday. I stuck to my meal plan and did KenpoX and Stretch X. It was a good day. I also got 8 hours of sleep last night! Woo Hoo! I've also taken a nap today. Like I said, I'm tired! Sugar crashing maybe? Anyway, I'm sure the energy will come back once my body adjusts.
So today, I've done very well too. I'm really wanting sugar so I've tried to find substitutions. Last night I had toasted sandwich thin with 1 tbsp of PB, chia seeds, and half a banana. It helped my craving a lot. And today, I've had a chobani greek yogurt with chia seeds and GoLean Berry Crisp. I've also eaten Oatmeal with flaxseed, more chia seeds, PB, and half a banana. That's all I've eaten so far. I'm doing good battling the urge to go next door to my mom's and steal all of her candy or poptarts. Or drive to walmart and buy a ton of baked goods. I will resist! 2 days down and just 28 more to go! Ok, that still sounds like a long time but I can do it! I will just take it one day at a time. I feel like I'm in AA. I guess it's SAA. Sugaraholics Anonymous. Well, I'm not anonymous so that doesn't even work.
Ok here was what I did in P90X this week:
Sunday: Core Synergistic
Monday: Cardio X
Tuesday: Chest, Shoulders, and Tri's (Holy Push-Ups Batman!!) and Ab Ripper X
Wednesday: was supposed to do yoga but had a lazy day instead. I just decided to use this as my rest day.
Thursday: Legs and Back & Ab Ripper X
Friday: Kenpo X and Stretch X
Saturday: Yoga X (haven't done yet but will do!)
So how is everyone else doing this week? Working hard?
