for one of the teams I have joined yesterday was "weigh in" day and sad to say I hadn't lost a lb. but didn't gain a lb either...that's the good news. So today I got on the scale and wouldn't you know it...I lost a lb. Sorry it won't help the team, but it is encouraging to me!
Yesterday I read a really interesting SP article on "plateaus" which I seem to have been on for a long time. I didn't know that different body types lose weight differently. It was such a relief to know that my body type loses weight more slowly; now I can be more tolerant with myself.
SP has been such a gift to me in so many ways. I have learned so much from the website itself, and from all the supportive SparkFriends. It isn't just about the weight and the food and the fitness training; it is about my thoughts and feelings as well. Thank you my friend for introducing me to SP! Thank you all my new friends for being so supportive and encouraging along this long path!
SP and each of you are
On SparkCoach today I was asked to change my weight and fitness plan to represent where I am now as opposed to where I was when I first started. My calorie range may have changed, but it didn't. Here and now I am committing to eating at the lowest end of the suggested calorie range. I've been trying to do that, but often miss, so now I am committing to anyone who reads this that I am going for no more than 1200 calories per day.
