I just finished week 2 of my 5k your way walking program. I was doing really well, then missed two days of cross training - one day I just didn't feel up to going to Curves, and the other day I planned to I found out I had to watch my grandson so couldn't go. I could've done some low impact aerobics at home but didn't. I also ate more than I should've on July 4. This morning was my third day of walking for the week, and I just didn't want to get out of bed. I realized I was fighting some depression and know that exercise helps but wasn't sure I could face 2 miles. I finally did get up and put on my exercise clothes, ate, and asked my husband to walk with me. Just got back from my walk, so I did at least complete the walking portion of my training this week. Here's to a better week 3!
