SP Official Better Sleep Challenge Journal, Day 2, A.M.

Every morning and evening of this SP Challenge, I will be answering the questions listed here:

1. I don't know how long it took me to fall asleep last night, because I had the clock turned around so I could not see the time, and to keep the light from being too bright. However, it seemed like *forever* until I fell asleep! I tossed and turned and tossed and turned-- even though I was DEAD TIRED. emoticon

2. I did finally manage to fall asleep (thanks be to GOD!) though I awoke many, many times during the night. Tossed, turned, prayed, and fell back to sleep. Finally got up at 6 a.m. (that's late for me, so that was pretty good).

3. *Probably* six total, which is waaaaay better than three! And I know there were times when I was really asleep, because I had lots of crazy dreams. I hardly ever dream because I hardly ever sleep, so this was actually fascinating to me! emoticon


A few things I think I could improve:

~Remove the clock from the room. Even though I had it facing backwards, I could still see that darned light.

~Answer my Sleep Challenge questions earlier in the evening, so I'm not on the computer *right* before bed. I think that threw me off.

~I noticed the sound machine also has a very small blue light that seemed to bother me. I may try without the sound machine tonight.


Hopefully I'll get even *more* precious sleep tonight. All in all, I think this was a good start.

    Cover the clock with a dark towel and that should help you. Hope tonight is better. HUGS!
