my july 4th was really fun/low key. i woke up at 6.30, got a friend to hit the park with me, and we went for a 7 mile walk...it was great to have company, and great to start the day on a healthy note! i didnt end up eating really anything all day other than watermelon haha, but i had my fair share of alcohol...
july 5th was a bit of a different story haha...i slept in w my boyfriend, was STARVING from not eating much the day before, and didnt eat up eating anything until 12 pm. which is always a bad idea for me! we went to get pho, which is a not bad/not great choice, but did not set me up for success for the rest of the day. i finished my bowl of chicken pho, came home, took a nap, ate MORE soup (i can only imagine the sodium...) and then headed out to my friend's bday party. on the positive side, i felt like i looked REALLY good in my clothes yesterday, which is always a total mood-booster!
i get to the party...and all hell breaks loose haha. a bratwurst with a bun. sides of mac and cheese and pasta salad. a piece of homemade pizza. a HUGE quantity of dessert. a THOUSAND alcoholic drinks haha. i put EVERYTHING into my body.
and it was freaaaakin delicious haha.
but i woke up this morning up 1.8 lbs. (which is to be expected). i literally did no physical activity yesterday, and although i am too lazy to track all of those calories at this point (although i probably will at some point today, because i am a freak and need to stay accountable) i would assume i had like 3000 calories yesterday! i cannot remember eating that much likkke ever haha. but it was fun, and i had fun, and it's whatever! **update, i am a freak, and i did track haha...and it ended up at 2,415 cals according to my calculations...damnnnn!**
off to make an egg-white omelette and go for a 10 mile walk/run. i'm gonna show these extra pounds who is in charge :)
