Unable to go all the way........

I did some pilates this afternoon........with a stick, it's one of Cassey Ho's workouts from Pop Pilates ( blogilates.com ). However with the squats, I couldn't go down all the way bcoz of my osteoporosis, it hurt too much, I just couldn't do it! Plus, even if I forced myself to squat down all the way, I doubt if I would be able to come up! That's how bad my osteoporosis is!

I will have to take it slow and build up my strength and stamina bit by bit. I hope I will have less pain in my joints soon...........

    KEEP IT UP GIRL FRIEND, KEEP IT UP. YOUR DOING GREAT. BUT, DON'T PUSH YOURSELF. JUST DO WHAT YOU CAN WITHOUT PAIN. IF YOU PUSH, YOU MAY TEAR SOMETHING INSIDE YOUR BODY. THAT WOULD NOT BE GOOD. emoticon

    It's ok if you can't go all the way down, the important thing is you do in correct form and not hurting yourself :D

    Just go down to the point before it hurts that way you can still strengthen your muscles and not hurt yourself

    Oh gosh, be careful! You should check to see whether certain moves in these workouts aren't harmful to you because of the osteoporosis. I'm sure that you can find workouts designed specifically for your medical needs with a quick Google search...

    I so impressed with you getting your workouts in despite the pain. No need to push yourself beyond your limits. Always important to listen to your body.

    I share your situation. I have found that I can do resistance bands and get a nice work out. After my cardio that is. Just find what works for you because you are worth it!
