A fairly calm day here. Only had swim lessons for the kids and a friend coming for supper and games. I did run a few errands and then took a nap. The cold is feeling better today, but still wearing me down.

Day 3 of dairy free went well. I substituted mashed avocado for the mayo in my BLT for lunch and switched up my egg scramble to not include cheese. It's been easier than I thought it would be!

Tomorrow morning I plan to head to the gym prior to Bountiful Baskets and am hoping I can manage the eliptical on this knee. If not I'll focus on abs and strength training. Not much scheduled for tomorrow so hoping I can get some homeschool co-op work done and maybe more time in my James bible study.



5% Challenge - Team Daisy: Tomorrow is our final weigh-in for this round and I didn't make the goal, but did make some definite strides in some habits for this journey. Thanks Daisies for being such an encouraging team!

    Hi Janet,

Only swim lessons and errands? That seems busy enough for me?

Take gentle care of that knee. I've run the full gamut of where a nasty knee can take you--it's a good idea to elevate and ice it down for almost every kind of knee injury and problem that exists.

    Be cautious about not making the knee worse. Soft tissue takes a long time to heal properly
