back in the groove

I'm finally starting to get back into the weight loss groove. emoticon I could feel it on Wednesday. I know that feeling. I felt it on Thursday too. Not so much today. But, I am not over eating, yeah me!

This week was a little challenging because its been so hot that cooking was not an option. We had emoticon 108-111 deg. F emoticon for about 10 days. There was a terrible fire just about 3 miles from my house. Very scary. We kept the cat emoticon indoors even though she wanted to go out. I didn't want her to get lost in that bad weather or get too hot. Luckily, the weather broke today and it was just in the 90s instead. Thats so much easier!!

I did several meditations. I plan to do one tonight as soon as I finish on Spark.

Workouts: I did 3 workouts. Two tai chi and one emoticon Hula dance. I plan to do belly dancing tomorrow before breakfast. I don't know what it is about doing the workout before breakfast but its like magic, I always dip into fat loss mode when I do that.

Eats: Mostly pretty good. I resisted the urge to eat McD's on Wednesday. Not easy to do. I did get an unsweetened iced tea though, and that was very refreshing. I'm still struggling with the triscuits. I'm keeping it to 1-2 servings and not grazing from the box, I make a ziploc baggie. I need to increase my veggies again and reduce my carbs. I need to stay on top of those two things.

Here is my plan for the next week:

Saturday (tomorrow): Bellydancing
Sunday: Hike emoticon + AM Yoga emoticon
Monday: Rest
Tuesday: Cathe's MMA emoticon Boxing (drills only) + 10 min. Ballet from Dance off Belly Fat
Wednesday: Hike emoticon + AM Yoga emoticon
Thursday: Rest
Friday: Jillian Banish Fat Boost Metabolism emoticon
Saturday: Kathy Smith Cardio Timesaver; Gary Bromley Yoga Class emoticon

Following week:
Sunday: Hike emoticon + AM Yoga emoticon

Eats: One green emoticon smoothie/day

    It was really hot here and cooled off. I find that I hate the heat almost as much as the cold. I'm very weather intolerant these days.

    I have a box of Triscuits but am avoiding them for the time being.
