Oh, I'm sore...

Friday, July 05, 2013

Two days ago, I rode my bike 12.3 miles...hooray! Yesterday & I rode my bike 4.4 miles AND walked 2.4 miles with my neighbor. Last eve. I STOOD & watched a 4th of July parade...I crawled to bed about 10:30 P.M. Got up at 12:30 midnight & took some pain meds for my arthritis. I could hardly move today & decided not to bike or walk today. I guess that I just overdid it yesterday. Tracked my food today & pretty much did not eat as much as I did yesterday. Yesterday, I messed up with overeating & almost binge-eating at times. The scale was really disturbing today. Last August, I was down 35 lbs. As of this morning I am only down 18 lbs. Not sure what is going on, but I need to get a grip...get serious & re-focus, using the Sparkpeople tools...So much for a good report...BUT...tomorrow is a NEW day...Let Us Pray To The Lord...Take care...

Janey - hang in there - you are still here and have not given up. You probably need a day of rest after a long day like the one you described. Exercise is good and hopefully the soreness will not be long-lasting. My arthritis often complains but once I am up the next day a lot of it goes away.

YOU MAY BE SORE BUT WAIT UNTIL WEIGH IN DAY. YOUR EFFORTS SHOULD BE AMPLY REWARDED. IF THEY AREN'T WELL, YOU SURE DID TRY.

all that standing watching the parade, not so good for arthritis. i find days i do more standing, i hurt more than if i walked or otherwise moved. silly, but that is the fun of arthritis.

Janey, you have lots to celebrate - keep focused and you'll catch up - one day at a time!
