I had an extremely busy day today. I thought that after the holiday yesterday, I would have a fairly easy day at work. But as usual, I predicted that one wrong!! I did manage to get all my busy-ness completed early though and got off of work an hour early. And what did I do with my suddenly scored extra hour? I headed to the gym for some ME time!!!
But gosh, I need to pay attention to when I last ate and drank before I head to the gym in the future. I had eaten a delish breakfast, but since I got out early, I did not eat lunch. By the time I left the gym I was feeling light headed and dizzy. I sat in the car while it cooled off and drank a bottle of water which made the dizziness go away. I drove home, carefully. I DRAGGED myself up the stairs into the house and my husband looked at me concerned. "Are you okay?" he asked me. If he was concerned I must have looked beat. I decided at that point that last night's leftovers would be a quick and easy meal. LOL!!
So YAY ME for not wasting my extra time today, getting to the gym and feeling good about myself and my accomplishments!
