Busy Busy Day

I had an extremely busy day today. I thought that after the holiday yesterday, I would have a fairly easy day at work. But as usual, I predicted that one wrong!! I did manage to get all my busy-ness completed early though and got off of work an hour early. And what did I do with my suddenly scored extra hour? I headed to the gym for some ME time!!!

But gosh, I need to pay attention to when I last ate and drank before I head to the gym in the future. I had eaten a delish breakfast, but since I got out early, I did not eat lunch. By the time I left the gym I was feeling light headed and dizzy. I sat in the car while it cooled off and drank a bottle of water which made the dizziness go away. I drove home, carefully. I DRAGGED myself up the stairs into the house and my husband looked at me concerned. "Are you okay?" he asked me. If he was concerned I must have looked beat. I decided at that point that last night's leftovers would be a quick and easy meal. LOL!!

So YAY ME for not wasting my extra time today, getting to the gym and feeling good about myself and my accomplishments! emoticon

Yeah for you!! I love that you spent you time productively on you, and that you're paying attention to what your body is telling you... next time you'll know and grab something to eat ahead of time.
