Geesh, I almost blew it!

Friday, July 05, 2013

I made a mini cheese cake recipe I found right here on SP. Made it last night and it made 10 little mini cheese cakes. I ate 4 already! They are too good! I got on the scale this am and my weight stayed the same. Thank goodness or I would have freaked. So, geesh I dodged a bullet. I am upset with my behavior most of all. My mistake was buying the ingredients to make the cheesecake in the first place. I was thinking that I could handle having it in the house, but no. I'm really not at the point yet where I can have such items in my reach. Okay, so this was a confession... lol

I have no control also! Whenever I cook something really good--I tend to over indulge.A friend talks to herself. I heard her say over and over , No, I don't need pizza." when we were at a school even for the students. she ate the salad, but not the pizza.

I too have fallen trap to I'll make this and eat my portion worth, only to find every single time I ate most of them...I watch "cupcake wars" and had the bright idea to make banana cupcakes with peanut butter frosting..the real deal, about 450 calories per cupcake, ate like 3 of them one day, etc. etc. I won't make them again..anything too good tasting..well you know the story :)

I like everything about this blog post including the sense of humor.

My problem with things like cheesecake is not the cheesecake per se, but the horrendously fewer calories I must eat to balance off the "cheesecake" (or whatever)!

I don't make anything any more with out a home for the rest of it. I take out a portion for me and the hubby and rest goes to someone before it is even cool. I get to enjoy a treat. I love the process of cooking and trying some thing new. Last of all others get a happy too.

Are you talking about the ones made on a vanilla cookie?

They have a shop that makes little ones, called, Charlie Cheesecake Poppers. I ate 3. They are 3 tiny bites. I forgot how many calories but it was around 4 or 5 hundred..

I decided eating it without crust was decent. emoticon

I too try to keep those foods out of my house. I have little to no control over my craving when the sweets are close. emoticon
