Still Working On My Streak

Which isn't, technically, a streak, because I've missed a few days. But I am hoping to post every day and complete my meal diary. I think, however, that end of day posting isn't working for me. I might have to post in the morning for a bit to get a real streak going.

Let's see...I've been sleeping. So...HOORAY! And I've been eating less. I'm not sure if that is because I've been sleeping or if it is related to a new method of binge control that I'm trying out. I stumbled across a book called..."How to have your cake and your skinny jeans, too." on Kindle. It isn't a book for everyone, as it is about the dangers of deprivation diets for binge eaters. But I've found her attitude liberating and so far, so good with my hunger directed eating attempts.

The only problem is that my eating is linked, I think, to my sleep deprivation. I know what I eat a lot less if I get over five hours a night. Under that amount and I am drawn blindly to the fast food and sweets, anything for a little stimulation, it seems. So that is definitely not hunger eating. Also, I think my stomach is numb sometimes and doesn't tell me that it's is hungry...only that it is tired.

    If you get less sleep that can cause lots of problems. We all ten to binge eat at times. It is something that we work on in the journey of getting healthier. I tend to eat more if it is something I really like. You may be able to work in some ideas from the book but not as drastic. Take care of your self.
