Slid Right Thru...

July 5th, minus 1 ( -1 lb) over the 4th which is nearly impossible for me. Holidays are a 'reason to eat' and always a gainer. Not this year. No heavy BBQ, mounds of potato salad, and many desserts. Instead, exercise, oatmeal breakfast and salmon on top of a summer dressing with very little dressing. Yum... love all of it. I even enjoyed a tiny piece of cherry pie afterward.

This whole thing with weight loss cannot be a diet for me. When you say "i can't" - then I just can. I'm into the actions of smart choices and exercise. That'll have to do. I've never been a "paper thin model" nor am I interested in that! Just trying to lose a couple pounds and firm up the flab.

I keep thinking "easy does it" and this seems to work for me. I'm going to keep doing it...

    Good plan! There are always reasons to celebrate so learning how to deal with that is a big deal!

    OH WELL DONE.....and by the way, are we twins separated at birth? LOL I feel the same way with the word diet. Tell me I cant, and I want it worse than ever before. I also have to live with good choices just because its good for me, rather than dieting. Glad to hear you're doing so well, and going from strength to strength.
