July 5th, minus 1 ( -1 lb) over the 4th which is nearly impossible for me. Holidays are a 'reason to eat' and always a gainer. Not this year. No heavy BBQ, mounds of potato salad, and many desserts. Instead, exercise, oatmeal breakfast and salmon on top of a summer dressing with very little dressing. Yum... love all of it. I even enjoyed a tiny piece of cherry pie afterward.
This whole thing with weight loss cannot be a diet for me. When you say "i can't" - then I just can. I'm into the actions of smart choices and exercise. That'll have to do. I've never been a "paper thin model" nor am I interested in that! Just trying to lose a couple pounds and firm up the flab.
I keep thinking "easy does it" and this seems to work for me. I'm going to keep doing it...
