My birthday was yesterday and half the people that wished me well made a big deal that it was my 30th birthday. Should it really be that big of a deal? They seemed to think so and were kind of stymied that I didn't. I am 30, do I feel any different than I did a few days ago? No. I can't change my age, so why obsess about it.
Is it strange that I am more concerned about how much I weigh than how old I am? My weight is a number I can change. How big my waist is, is a number I can change. I would much rather put my energy into numbers I can change than numbers I cannot.
