This weekend, I am on a short vacation with the family. Eating out is always a trigger for me and the portions are huge. So, I have made a commitment to eat reasonably and avoid the high fat foods. Had a delicious healthy salad for lunch. So only three more meals to do before I get to the in-laws, where the food is safe item. Sometimes a few too many snacks around, but I brought some of my own, so think I should be good to go.
Woohoo for WiFi in hotels as I can track my food as I go along through the weekend. There is lots of walking here which a good way to get some good exercise in and I plan on swimming too. For me, planning it out and writing it down will get me through a fun weekend while maintaining my food plan.
I am so grateful for the focus and freedom of not overeating or thinking about food all the time, a gift from God.
