A serious of unfortunate events this week

Friday, July 05, 2013

This has been quite the week..let me tell ya!

First off as far as work goes, this is the closest I've been to just wanting to walk out. We had 3 files closing this week which normally I'd be grateful for, but it was with our worst, slowest, and incompetent client we have. I was ready to go nuclear on anybody that made eye contact with me! In addition to work...

Tuesday - I busted my knee at skate practice. (Fortunately, despite its ugly appearance, it is already starting to heal)

Wednesday - I hydroplaned my car over a curb and spun out. I am very thankful no cars were coming, but I am nearly positive I gave myself whiplash. I also bent the rim on my brand new tire and screwed up my alignment...again.

Thurday-Friday- I am now catching a cold. I just feel completely beat down, exhausted, and sore! I'm not sure I would still have my sanity if I had to work yesterday.

Certainly not a great week. Time to take a deep breath and maintain a positive attitude. Don't sweat the small stuff. I tell myself there are worse things that can happen.

Whew - deeeeep breaths! It could have been worse but they also say bad things happen in threes right? So you should only be on the up from here!

Not bad. Just close calls. This gives the knee a chance to rest.
