So I didn't blog yesterday - and there's no reason why. The BF was sick, so we stayed home all day. I had plenty of time to blog, I just didn't do it!
I did get up early-ish and got some exercise in though. I walked for about 48 minutes, stopped by the grocery store, then walked home carrying my purchases. I didn't get one healthy thing at the store. I knew we were in for a day at home and I wanted snack/comfort food. Not the best choice - the number on the scale was not kind this morning, not to mention that I feel I negated all the goodness of my walk!
But today is a new day and I've already had my healthy breakfast, have a Lean Cuisine in my bag for lunch, and am planning either a lunch time walk or a walk around the lake after work - depends on if I'm going to my parents house after work. I don't know that I'll get to 250 fitness minutes for the week since as of right now I'm only at 109 or 180. Why the difference you ask? Well technically Sunday counts as this week but it's not included for July. Not to mention that it was a fitbit entry that got me 71 minutes on Sunday and it wasn't what I consider "real" exercise.
I'm still getting used to this fitbit thing. Overall I love it, but when it comes to tracking activity, not so much. I have un-synced it with my SP fitness tracker so I don't get fitness minute credit for getting up and walking to the restroom or loading dishes into the dishwasher. I do love how I can track my food on SP and it carries over to fitbit.com. I wish it was waterproof too. I am heading to the waterpark at Six Flags with my nieces and would love to wear it all day. Any suggestions?
Enough of my ramblings for now. Here are my goals for yesterday & how I did...
- At least 6000 steps/day - YES
- At least 2 water bottles/day - about 56 oz. - YES
- 1 serving raw veggie/day - nope
- Blog on SP everyday - nope
- At least 250 fitness minutes/week - not sure it'll happen
