week 24 & 25

Over the last 2 weeks I did 2 main things : Stopped tracking food and stopped tracking exercises. My objective : really see if I had found a new way of living that would allow me to lose weight without going crazy over figures.
I have been following a few rules :
have breakfast in the first hour I'm up
Have 2 snacks a day (generaly raw veggies with a handfull of almonds)
Bring myself a lunch
be carefull of portion size.
follow those rules 90% of the time.
It seems to be working. I'll make minor adjustments if I see that it doesn't work anymore.
I have also decided to aim my weight loss 1 pound at a time. I keep track of that. I will lose that weight 1 pound at a time until I feel I have attained a good weight (probably 180 pounds but who really knows)
Here are the numbers :
week 1 : 259.6 lbs
week 8 : 248.6 (now under 250)
week 18 : 239.6 (now under 240)
week 21 : 227.8 (now under 230)
week 23 : 232.6
week 25 : 230.8
loss for the last 2 weeks (1.8 pounds)
Starting weight 1/1/2011 : 258 (-27.2)
weight when joining Spark weight 4/16/2011 : 231.3 lbs (-0.5)
lowest weight since starting all this : 225.8 lbs (+5)
Ultimate goal weight : 180 (+50.8)
1/1/2013 weight : 263 lbs (-32.2)
All in all I am happy about it. I sure hope it means I have found my balance. We'll see over the next few months.
For now I am still not training at all. Further proof that losing weight is actually (90% food and 10% training. I will finish the sewing for the wedding first, then I might start running again. Just to keep in good shape.
