Getting Better at It

Well, there wasn't much tracking or exercise this week, at least not in the gym. I'll probably end up in the elliptical the next two days just to actually do that, since I didn't really do much else with work picking up extra hours this week.
I was a bit more mindful of what I ate, and actually managed to track most of a couple of days. I find it more important that I was actually thinking about it though, rather than the putting it in. Especially since otherwise the only favor I'm doing myself is obsessing over where to find it in my phone app, and the good Lord knows I'm texting and talking on that thing too much as it is.
I did receive the nicest compliment from the guy I'm dating, because we were having a fun conversation about weight and body image. He was apparently a pudgy kid most of his life, so he's also paranoid about being healthy, and I was talking to him about the next fifteen pounds I have to lose, and he was rather insistent that it looks perfectly fine right now and apparently distributes itself well on my body, but he's fully supportive of the trying to stay healthy focus. I find that incredibly reassuring, especially coming from someone as adorable as him.
