Before anything else, I did an hour of yardwork. Before the heat, before breakfast, and before I sat down at the computer. I have my list from yesterday to remind me of what things I need to do: strength training for my arms and core, sticking to my streak of not eating chips, candy, cake or chocolate. I got a good night's sleep because I crawled into bed early last night. Woo hoo! Best of all I said no to a big meal.
I am worth it. I am worth feeling this good every day. I spend a lot of my work day looking after others and I am worth spending a fraction of each day on ME. It was worth going to the healthfood store to get the extra fiber low cal bread. It was worth taking a few minutes yesterday just to relax. It is worth taking a few extra minutes to fix a salad at lunch. Yup yup yup, I'm a little choo choo with a positive attitude!
