OOlala convinced me to try out this NoS-thing.
No sweets, no snacks no seconds exept on days with S.
Sounds simple. I lurked around at the NoS-website and Forum and decided to do a modification.
I allow myself seconds. Seconds and Thirds, for one of my three daily meals.
Thats important for me.
This doesnt mean i´ll fill up my plate twice, it means going for the french way.
..you know i live a about 300 yards from France. And eating the french way was always a bit of luxury for me. It needs me-time.
So, 1st dish is a salad (greens, reds, high-quality oils) or crudités. No much calories but volume to fill up.
2nd is a normal plate. Its strange not to watch and count calories for it. Its more strange to estimate the amount i will eat and put it on my plate. Thinking "i cannot refill it" i usually take too much. Ok, its a learning process.
3rd is dessert: either a small piece of cheese, a fruit or a bite of something sweet.
If this modification works, it would be great!
I could not hold this on 2 of 5 days. On Thursday i had a sandwich for breakfast and i wanted another one. So i had it and skipped lunch. With two sandwiches i really was not hungry.
On wednesday, a uncomfortibly warm day, i bought a bottle of soda while on the road. I was tricky thirsty and didnt want any water. So i counted those 450 calories from the soda as a complete meal and skipped one.
