Happy 4th!

The treadmill is still in the garage, and today's 2 mile run was a hot, humid WET one! My long run is Sunday - shooting for 4 miles, but I'll start earlier! Can't wait until I hit that 'zone' where at 6 miles, the endorphins kick in and I feel like I can run forever (or 9 miles, whichever comes first!) In more ways than one, the heat is on, to train for the Brooklyn 5K...with at least a couple of 10K's in the fall. No more 1/2 Marathons for my artificial knees.

My long weekend will be one of regrouping and reprogramming. The Peanut Chicken Thai skewers (the sauce uses PB2 instead of peanut butter) came out fab last night, enough for today's lunch. Water, water and more water.

M2 - (post run) bagel w/ Salmon/Lox/Capers
M3 - 2 pieces leftover thai chicken
M4 - Orange Creamsicle Smoothie
M5 - turkey burger, salad
M6 - ??
