One of the consequences of all this rain is the great proliferation of weeds! I pulled the big weeds out of all the planting beds this morning and then I sprayed round-up in all the areas that we don't want weeds to grow and hopefully I sprayed enough to kill all the little weeds that are just beginning to grow. Before that I took a walk and next I'll do about 20 minutes on the bike. This afternoon is a trip to J C Penny's and Target so I'll be sure to walk the perimeters a few times before shopping - gotta get those steps in!

Your blog made me think of another one I read one day. The blogger was writing about the Pick Up Rocks work out. You know how they come up with all kind of crazy work outs at the exercise facilities? Well I thought it was a new fitness class at the gym where you did a bunch of squats etc. Turns out they were just picking up rocks out of their yard. Maybe you can create a pull those weeds work out set to music like "Fields of Gold", "Mr. Blue Sky", "Going Up the Country", "Rocky Mountain High", ah the possibilities are endless.

The weeds have absolutely taken over my yard!!!!! But I still prefer a rainy summer to a drought.
