Freedoms, Opportunities and Blessings

Not knowing the outcome of a situation can be overwhelming. No one knows what tomorrow is going to bring. No one knows what results will come from decisions that are made. No one knows for certain about anything.
We will always know the outcome if we do nothing. If we stay in a job we don’t like, we will continue to have an unhappy and unfulfilling career. If we continue to do nothing to make our relationships better, we will continue to have unhappy and unfulfilling relationships. If we continue to do nothing to improve our health, we will continue to on the same path which could lead to our health deteriorating.
However, when we take advantage of our freedoms to look for another job or ways to improve the job we have, we will begin to have more meaningful work. When we take advantage of our freedoms to serve others, especially those close to us, we will have more meaningful relationships. When we take advantage of our freedoms to eat better and learn how to become more healthy, we will feel more energetic and motivated to do most anything.
It is such an amazing thought that when we move forward without fear to get something done, there will be blessings waiting on us from God. This is so true in all we do. It is just as amazing that there are so many people in the world who won’t step out and do more.
The freedoms we have in America are so great we can’t even take advantage of them all. We are blessed with many freedoms in life and we need to use these freedoms as opportunities to do good. When we do good, we will see blessings for us and for others. Freedoms bring opportunities and opportunities bring blessings.
If we don’t go, we won’t know. Let’s be the one who goes. Let’s be the one who knows what blessings are meant for us and others because we took advantage of our freedoms and took a chance on an opportunity. God wants us to take full advantage of opportunities and be obedient to Him so He can give us the blessings He has ready for us.
Deuteronomy 28:1a,6 “If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today…Wherever you go and whatever you do, you will be blessed..” (NLT)
