Hmmmmm- Stress won

Thursday, July 04, 2013

I knew yesterday would be very stressful. Planned my breakfast lunch and dinner. Planned my snack. Had to let a co-worker go who is very well thought of and I enjoyed her as well. She came back to clean out her desk area when we closed as to not have to see anyone. Stayed with her through this but missed my exercise class. Got home and ate a well balanced dinner. Was full and not even hungry but then I also ate: 1 oz baked tostitos, 1 oz almonds.... still ok and in range. Still not satisfied so had 10 ritz crackers and a Little Debbie oatmeal cookie.

Ughhhhhh This put me 450 calories over for the day.

Have to remember though..... Yesterday is over. Today is a new day. The hardest part is over. Now need to move forward......

At least you tracked it. When I start emotionally eating I forget to track and don't come up for air for days. I'd say you are handling it very well!

I have certainly had those days as well - the NSV is that they are very, very few and far between. Maybe write your frustrations after you've had the one treat? And yes, today is a NEW day with NEW choices. That's the beauty of it. Hope you had a happy 4th!

I thing under the circumstances you did a good job with your eating....could have been worse. I'm sure your body will be forgiving. Sometimes I need to up my calories to see a weight loss....I know that sounds strange but it does work. Have a wonderful holiday.....stay safe, focused and let's make healthy choices together.... emoticon
