The blogs that I am writing these days are really for my own benefit.
They are keeping me focused on my goal of maintaining my healthful eating and exercising while I'm at the beach this month.
I am working out the details of how to make it happen - and as I do so, I will be writing my ideas down here.
These blogs can serve as reminders and motivators to me whenever I feel I need them.
Today, I got up and went walking for an hour at 6:30am.
I was surprised to see that there were real advantages to going out that early:
--The temperatures hadn't gotten too hot yet.
--There was lots more shade along the side of the road to walk in.
--There was hardly any traffic on the road.
--I liked having the walk over with in time for an early start to the rest of the day.
I realized, though, that on some mornings I would need something to spur me on to get out of bed that early -- especially since I am walking alone and don't have to meet up with anyone else.
I decided that I would download an audible book on my Kindle - perhaps a British mystery - something I could enjoy listening to while I walk.
