I'm feeling better today, but I was surprised to get a low grade headache in the early evening. I'm not sure what's going on --if it's because of my period or if I'm getting a detox headache.
I had really bad cramps today and took Tylenol, which I know stressed my liver, so I'm not sure how much I'll lose tomorrow. This morning when I weighed myself, I was at 147.8, which means I lost 0.4 pounds from yesterday. Yay! I really do hope I lose weight tomorrow despite the Tylenol.
I stuck to the diet, although I did eat out at Cheesecake Factory for lunch. I had sweet potato fries and ordered the fresh shrimp rolls before I realized I wasn't sure if I was allowed to eat shrimp. The rolls didn't have much shrimp anyway, so I think it was okay, and there was a lot of vegetables in the rolls, which were made with rice noodles and a rice wrapper. No soy sauce. I went home and ate some roast beef to make up for the low protein at lunch.
Snack was walnuts and cucumber--yum!--and also a beef-stuffed mushroom from phase 2 with 1/2 an avocado on top of it. Gosh I love avocados! Breakfast was oatmeal with berries, almond butter, and celery on the side, and dinner was the chicken coconut curry. Really tasty!
I tracked all my food and I'm a bit shocked how many calories I consumed today, but I guess I shouldn't have been surprised since it's phase 3, high fat. I consumed 2100 calories today (give or take)! But I was low on calories for phase 2 so I'm guessing I shouldn't really pay much attention to my calorie count. After all, in the book, Haylie said she doesn't believe in calories!
I'm a little concerned about the headache. My husband says it also might be because of the heat, although I'm drinking a lot of water. I hope it goes away tomorrow. Has anyone else who did this diet had headaches?
