Going into a negative day...

Went to a lunch meeting yesteday - it was great but I felt a lillte worried because my share opposed another share - we are not to comeent och discuss but after a share about how important it was to follow the big book by the letter I felt compelled to tell about whenI came to AA and was lucky enoguh to have the exact people there that would attract me to come back. One of the best lessons of those meetings is to learn to listen and trust that we are where we are supposed to be. If you follow my thoughts here on Spark you probably know that I have not embraced that idea to the fullest, but I learn every day and the meetings are very good illustrations of that truth to me.

But I fel a littl uncomfortable with being "Opposed" and thinking that I had to add my two cents to that meeting.

In the afternoon we went to a "gsme event" in the town - we found an ad for it and I called them and they said it was for all ages, the re would probably be from 8-25 there...and than me emoticon Good activity with daughter so we went - and those people really touched my heart, they would all be perfect as friends of Sheldon in Big Bang THeory.. I spend the afternoon playing "Resistance" & "Spank the Monkey", daughter played "resistance" and then got to be in a roleplay that lasted some hours - she came back from it beaming with joy - she had gotten to be a 12-year old bimbo, secretly in love with a hero and asking the dumbest questions all along - I did not quite understand how these roleplays works - while waiting for daughter I interviewed a young woman - Joy - aboutthe group and she said they did games, role plays and "lajvs" (I think itīs a swedification of "live play" - I think this might be very fun for daughter and I donīt mind playing games myself so this s another thing we can do when we want to have fun...

But I was restless and off balance - did eat outside plan but luckily no binge, still inside my calorie limit. No exercise.

Food - the last meal from the "food bag": pork shoulder with ovenroasted potatos and vegetables and a sauce of tomato, garlic and chili – very tasty.

    My thought: If everyone at a meeting was on the same page; there wouldn't be much point in having a meeting. We grow and change but we don't always agree and that's OK. Hugs.
