Being careful who I open my door too.
Wednesday, July 03, 2013
Many year a go as I was home alone; a man came to our door. I answered the door. (It was at a time people did not have to lock doors the way they do now.) I opened the door and the stranger put his foot in the door. He did not say a word but pressed hard against the door with all His might. He was a big strong man and no way could hold that door but in my heart I was crying out to my Lord God. HELP ME! Suddenly the door slammed shut and the man ran as if he had been shot. No one else was anywhere to be seen. But God had answered my hearts cry, and shut that door. He had made the man stop pushing and to run as if he was running for His life. God is able. Fear Not! Psalms37
The reason I tell the above story is to share a TRUTH. Be careful who you open the door of your home to. (At the door, books, on T.V. or computer or etc.) You may get someone who wishes to do you harm. We must be on our guard but not fear. 1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
