Great day at Universal today

Wednesday, July 03, 2013

Just a short note to check in...will do photos another time. we left our rented house around 8 am and went to Universal. We had spent extra extra money for the VIP tickets and didn't have to do long lines. We got to go on all the rides and had a ball. Didn't get back to the rental until like 7pm. Great day. Only hard part for me is that I am getting really tired of eating the little can of tuna I take and the rice bread everyday while I watch everyone else eat stuff that looks, soft pretzel, ice cream, wings, and I could go on and on....but I keep telling myself it's just food and my dry boring tuna and rice bread is keeping me healthy. So be it!
I will try and check in tomorrow but tomorrow is Sea World so another busy day.
Hope all my sparks buddies are doing great.

It sounds like the vacation of a lifetime. Why are you eating dry tuna? There has to be some kind of dressing you could eat. Go for it!

That was a long day! Glad you had fun. Even though your food may be boring you haven't been sick on your trip so that's a good thing.

Sounds like so much fun. Sorry you can't enjoy the food, but as long as you feel ok that is the important thing.

Glad you're having a great time, Sallie! I imagine Universal was lots of fun! It must be so difficult, those sights and smells of all the tempting, forbidden food, so I applaud you for keeping faithful to things like tuna and rice bread. The wings alone would've driven me crazy! Wild applause for you, for continuing to take good care of your health under demanding circumstances. Happy Fourth!! emoticon

Yes, it's hard, but it's good when you can get to the point where you're able to realize that it's just food and if it's not good for you, it's just not worth eating and feeling sick! Enjoy the rest of your stay!

HUGs and smiles.
