I FINALLY feel like I'm back into the swing of things! I fell off track for some time and gained half of what I had lost back BUT the good news is that I stopped it before I gained anymore! That's a victory in itself! Usually I would've gained it all back and then some but not this time!! I'm down 11 pounds from April and I feel SO much better about myself. I'm only about 15 lbs away from where I want to be and I KNOW I'll get there again.
I've started running and low and behold, I LOVE it!! I started it because I knew that I would burn the most calories from it and even though I still want this to become a lifestyle change like last time, I wanted the weight to come off quickly! I've got a body to sport this summer!!! I've read that the #1 way to maintain your weight-loss is to incorporate a regular exercise routine which is what I'm trying to do. Running has become my go-to exercise to release the happy endorphins. There's nothing like the feeling you get after you run! Such a feeling of accomplishment--I LOVE IT!! Soon I'm going to run my first official 5K and I can't WAIT! My boyfriend is impressed each time I go running and that makes me feel GOOD! Heck, I'm even impressing myself!! My last 5k time was 32:15 with an average 10:48 min/mi pace! Who did that?!! THIS GIRL RIGHT HERE! BOOYA!!
So as you can tell I'm feeling so much better about myself. Woohoo!! And I'm also SUPER psyched to be meeting some Spark friends at the end of this month! We are going to my parent's condo at the Lake of the Ozarks and are so excited to finally meet eachother in person!
Soon I'll be able to post pics from my SP meet-up AND from my 1st 5K! That just ROCKS!
