Reaching my utimate weightloss goal

Wednesday, July 03, 2013

well well, Im back! I think...

Not blogged in about two months, for various reasons, the main one being major personal issues in my family life. Things have gone from bad to worse unfortunately :( and they don't look like they will get any better any time soon. Its been a very hard time for me, but everybody has their issues to deal with.

As far as weightloss goes I did finally manage to reach my ultimate goal of 119 lbs (8 and a half stone).. However with everything that has been going on it passed without event. It took me nearly 12 months to get to this point, my starting weight was 190 lbs, and as I am only 5'3" tall this was classed as obese, not a good place to be in at all.. But I did it! I lost a total of 71 lbs :) It was very VERY hard work, but it has all been worth it. I feel so much better about myself and my body now, and I can wear the clothes that I've always wanted to, but could never really get away with. I reached this goal about 8 weeks ago (I think) and since then I have successfully maintained at that weight. So its onto a new era I suppose.. One I have never dealt with before, and that is to continue to maintain my current weight. I still weigh and measure myself regularly to keep myself accountable and on track.

I hope all you guys are well!!

WAY TO GO on making all the little lifestyle changes that add up to 71 pounds GONE!!! I know it took focus and determination - you've certainly proven that you CAN do whatever you set your mind to, especially since you were able to maintain in spite of personal setbacks. Thanks for being such an inspiration!
