Wow! I actually ran at least 1 mile every day since Memorial Day. 1 day to go. Then I will take a rest day or two and be ready for the 10k I signed up for on the 6th.
I have noticed a couple of things about running 1 mile everyday:
1. It was a motivator to make sure I got at least 10 minutes of fun exercise a day.
2. I noticed that I can actually run a mile without having to stop and not feel like I am going to die.
3. I actually feel like a runner now!
4. I like to run!
My granddaughter wants to train a bit harder so she can get her sub30 5k. So this challenge for me has given me a bit more confidence. Found out there is a color run up north and my daughter wants to do it and she'll need to train. It's in 2 weeks. We'll see what happens.
