P.A.W.S.E. Week 5 BLC Challenge

Well this week I did not meet my expected weight loss goal missed it by 0.3 lbs which is okay with me I lost 2.2 lbs and I still didn't get the required sleep something I still have no control over even though I've tried several things including sleeping aids I still went over my exercise minutes by 98 minutes I think so I have a few things to work on this week....

This week I'm cutting my cardio down because I'm being told by several professional people that I'm getting to much cadio in and not enough cross fit and or/strength training that's going to change up this week....I did 798 minutes of exercise this week and I'm sure maybe 90% of that was cardio...I'm being told while cardio will cause me to lose the weight it will not tone me up nor will it define the body once the weight is gone....that will be a problem...

My Struggles continues to be that I'm sick and struggle with insomnia both of which I can't fix at this time my body has to run this course...
My goals this week are:

Lose 2.5 lbs
Drink 10 glasses of water per day
Do 300 minutes of strength training
Do 125 minutes of cardio this week 25 minutes per day of Focus T25
Do 30 minutes of walking 3 days this week only for total of 90 minutes only

So far this is the beginning of wk 5 BLC and I'm down 14.7 lbs so I'm on track half way to my goal of 30.0 lbs....I will take measurements tonight and see where I'm at far so good....

I hope this new plan of attack works with the exercise we'll see if not I can always switch it back....

    Too much cardio can indeed be less beneficial! Adding more ST into the mix will help tone! Maybe try mixing the 2 for a great calorie blasting circuit!

    Tema - I think you are doing awesome despite not being able to sleep! It is darn near impossible to accomplish anything when you are so tired! You are doing such an outstanding job! Keep pushing forward. I can't WAIT to see what kind of results you find once you tweak your exercise to include more ST and cross training!! :-) Hope you have been having a great week!

    What kind of cardio are you doing aside from the walking? That's the only thing I do.

    Wow, it is great how much you have accomplished, with or without the sleep challenges. It is great to mix things up and try new things and I hope that helps you get your goals this week.
