Day 3 of the Summer 30 Day Challenge

Yesterday was a good one! This morning I am down by 1.4 pounds!

Nutritionally and just in general.
Okay, the kids had to be told the vacation rules, like no fighting....

Since we have 8 weeks ahead of us, I needed to set down some ground rules!

IN the evening we went for a canoe paddle as a family , so that took care of my 30 minutes exercise!

We saw a mamma duck with 6 ducklings! Hope that is not OUR mamma Duck who will then have lost a duckling!

These seemed smaller though, so it was hard to tell.

Nutritionally I did well, had salad for lunch

    Still sugar free. Went to the chiropractor so I didn't do a workout last night to let the body heal and because the body was too loose from the adjustment and massage. So count day 3 as one of my rest days:)

    My Day 3 was spent enjoying the cold Winter sunshine in the winelands with a friend - after 2 hours at gym, burning calories

    Food - good - no hard cheeses or grains

    Day 4 is looking good - sunshine, meeting a friend for a safe coffee, some gardening, day off from gym as usual on a Thursday, walk later and no plans to buy any yellow cheese when I breeze through the fruit and veg section of the supermarket later

    WooHoo!! Way to go bring down!
    We visited Bisbee, AZ today, got my walking in :)
    Food is mostly on plan, till we celebrated with our friends this evening with a bottle of bubbly (LG doesn't favor bubbles)
    Leaving for New Mexico in the morning and should be home in Colorado this weekend.

    I always loved when the kids got out of school for the summer. No homework to remind them of, school lunches, driving...now they are 20 and almost 18!

    Day 2 went very well. Made good food choices, portion control, exercise- walk with DH and DDog, met my veggi/ fruit goal and met the protein goal for the 1st time in weeks.
    It takes focus to get nutrition into balance!

    Working on doing the same for Day 3.

    Yay Mel !!!

    Michigan Kristin is going strong! No sugar (although tempted) and did another day of Rugged Maniac plus more dreaded burpees. Thanks for sharing the photos. I have scouted some spots out and will be dropping by them to take pics:)
