Day five- 6 pounds down and motivated

Today I am on top of the world...6 pounds down in one week is awesome. Cheat...yes I did but only a couple of times and to think what I could have lost if I hadn't done that.
Sometimes we think to ourselves, just a little cheat , I can make it up tomorrow...not good. that type of thinking gets you to slip again and again until it is weigh in day and the scale laughs at you. Not this time I got the last laugh.
I am feeling high today...high on life...high on motivation and proud of myself. Now I need to keep that feeling going...I ache to feel this all the time. It feels so good and so satisfying.


I am motivated with a capital M. I want you all to feel that way too. I want you there right alongside me. Maybe we should start the feel good club. If you lost motivation, if you feel like it is too much trouble..if you feel down and disheartened...then catch on to my shirtale and hang on because I am ready to take this all the way to the top and I want you to come with me!
Lets go!

Such an upbeat and motivating blog!!! You are doing so great. I was thrilled about 2 pounds so I can't imagine how you feel with "6"!!!!!! emoticon You get a gold star, my friend. LOL What you are doing is working well for you and I know this is going to be your time to lose lots of those unwanted pounds and gain some positive energy. Keep going.

    Congratulations on your 6lb loss!! That's terrific. You are totally right in saying that a little cheating gets you nowhere, that kind of thinking almost got me back to 299!!! I've got to find my way back to where I was before.

I was down to 262 & I had this (LOL) "horrible fear" that I would fall off the face of the Earth if I got below that. Long story short, a cheat here & a cheat there ended up a few lbs up, then Dad got cancer (he is remission now) but I let it all get to me thinking that when I saw the scale go up that "hey I've done it before, I can do it again". WRONG!! This time hasn't been near as easy or successful for me but I refuse to quit!!!

So Kudos to you for getting & staying on the wagon!!! You rock!!! emoticon
