Another successful BLC week for me!! We are 4 weeks into the 12 week challenge and I am almost ¾ of the way to my weight loss goal of 20 pounds for the entire challenge. I’ve been working hard and continuing to build on those healthy habits that are proving successful. When the BLC results were posted last Sunday, I found that I am currently ranked #8 overall (this is out of 500+ BLC participants) so I feel like I am having a very successful round.
Once again I met all of my goals except one. I did not make the 600 minutes of exercise. I have determined that this amount of exercise is just not feasible for me so I’m going to make that the more attainable 500 minutes this week. I made sure I got my 10,000 steps a day. If I found at the end of the day I was short, I would pull up some videos and dance around until I reached my goal or I would get up and march in place during commercials to make sure I got there before I went to bed each evening.
I have been tracking faithfully for the past month and what a difference that has made with the weight loss. This week I haven’t been getting up to exercise (but I have been doing it in the evening so I am getting the minutes in). I need to get back to getting up and getting that in before work
My week 5 challenge goals are
1. 500 minutes of exercise
2. Perfect score on the weekend challenge
3. Read chapter 4 of Sugar Shock
4. Get up and workout first thing in the morning on work days
5. Enjoy the long weekend
6. 10,000 steps each day
I just want to say, this weekly goal setting, tracking and giving up sweets has made such a tremendous impact on my success in the past month. I want to encourage you to at least sit down and write out your goals for the next week.
OK, since I still didn’t meet all of last week’s goals, that exercise music will be my reward when I reach all of my goals this next week.
