Quick Update - Heading South of the Border!

Wednesday, July 03, 2013

QUICK update – seeing as how starting in 20 minutes I have meetings for most of the day.

- Revived my fitbit. Since I have the little one, evidently it needs new batteries every 4-6 months. Live and you learn! I feel SO much better having it back on and working again. How weird is that? It also made me consider maybe buying a “nicer” one down the road.

- STILL no results on my heart. CMON. I am trying not to worry about it so much, but how long does it take?! I feel like you should probably prioritize heart results, right? UGH.

- My boss just sent me an e-mail saying that one say she was going to buy me a cape for the superhero that I am. Days like this I am so happy I made these changes in my life!

- In 11 days, WE’RE GOING TO MEXICO!!!!!!!!! My bf has a week off between jobs and we may not have another chance for a vacation this year. He found one of those last minute deals to an all inclusive in Isla de Mujeres. I am NEVER this impulsive, I am such a planner, so I’m spazzing just a little bit. I also took 12 years of French and know about this much Spanish: gracias, por favor, bano, corona, margarita, taco and dinero. I have also never been to a beach with clear water and I am FREAKING OUT about it. I am trying not to get my hopes up too high but I am so excited to finally see blue water that I can’t contain it!

That is all I have for right now, today is already shaping up to be crazy. I hope that you all have a very happy 4th of July and be careful if you’re playing with fireworks! Booze and explosives (as well as booze and driving, and booze and a Thursday) don’t mix friends, be safe!

I second= if they thought you were in cardiac danger you would be in a different place and they would have called your earlier rather than later- I love your vacation plans- we went to the isle of los mujeres years ago and it was lovely. it is more built up than when we went there- the isle was almost clear of development, but it is a beautiful beach. Take a breath and enjoy the spontaneous fling in your life- it will make a good story for later one way or

Yay for vacation! I am also a planner, so if i were you, my anxiety would be out of control (it usually is even when i have a super planned vacation, i can never sleep the day before a trip). Hope you have a great time!

12 years of French, whoooa! Once you learn one Romance language, the others are a breeze (except for maybe Romanian... the Slavic influence is strong in this one). Although 11 days isn't a lot of time, hehe.

Have a great time! Glad that your boss is recognizing all of your efforts!

I work at a clinic and cardio results really do seem to take longer than anything else! Very strange. On the upside, if they didn't call you immediately it's probably not gravely serious. Hopefully they get your results quickly and get this figured out. Good vibes your way!
