After writing my Dr Seuss blog yesterday, I realized I never wrote about my goals for yesterday. But then realized that I still accomplished all of my goals without having to write them out in a blog. This is good progress. Means I'm getting back to where I should be in terms of my activity level, commitment, and accountability.
So, for now, I'll work on writing out my goals for this month. As I need to, I'll check in each week or more frequently if needed to make sure I'm holding myself accountable.
Looking at July...
I will do walk/run intervals outside 2-3x/week for at least 30mins each time
I will work on increasing how long I run for each interval.
I will go to ZUMBA at least 1x/week, maximum is 2 (there are only two classes a week that I can make with work schedules, etc.)
I will go to FitClub 2x this month. The other weeks I wont be able to make it due to other commitments.
I will drink at least 6 cups of water every day. This is very automatic for me.
I will finish reading one book.
I will goto the beach and enjoy summer at least 2x this month
I will ST 2-3x/week for at least 10mins
I will plan meals weekly
A flexible workout schedule will be:
Sunday - ZUMBA and/or walk/run
Monday - ZUMBA and/or walk/run and ST
Tuesday - walk/run
Wednesday - Fit Club or Gym (cardio and ST)
Thursday - walk/run
Friday - low intensity cardio
Saturday - walk to/from work (1.5mi one way)
Our meals are typically similar type things that we rotate through: cheese ravioli, turkey sloppy joes, turkey burgers, chicken tacos, salsa chicken, chicken pot pie (healthy version), homemade mac and cheese (sometimes I'll make the boxed kind, just for fun), spaghetti, sausage pasta, stir fry, sandwiches, etc.
I'll be checking in at least 1x/week with a blog this month.
