I think I'm allergic to nuts. I ate a few yesterday for a snack and broke out in hives. This is another "major" food category that I have to drop from my diet. I'm really left with chicken, fish except shell fish because I'm - you guessed it - allergic, veggies and fruit except tomoatoes since I seem to be allergic to them also. And I can't eat avocado or bananas because of the high potasium content.
Darn!! I'm going to try some coconut products (water, cream, oil) to see if I can use them for smoothies instead of nut butters, but I'm really ready to give up cooking altogether.
And I've gained another pound because I'm up all night itching. Time to see a real allergist? Dunno but I'm thinking about it.
