The scale will not budge. Since signing up on this site I have not lost a single pound :( I am so discouraged. I am tracking, eating right, exercising and still nothing. I do not want to give up but I maintained this weight not doing anything right so of course I think "why bother". I cannot say this is a plateau, considering I have never moved. I feel like my body is against me and I just don't know what to do anymore. I am so frustrated and feeling like giving up :(

Sorry for complaining, I just needed to get it out of my head....

Thank you everyone for the encouragement and the truth you provided. My husband said maybe fat is turning to muscle and that is why the scale is not moving. He told me not to give up either and to focus on how I am feeling. Which to be honest I am feeling pretty good :)

Don't give up. I have been a member 2 months and I have only lost 1 pound. I am also tracking , walking a lot more, staying within calorie limit, and I only lost that one. But yes, I think my body is still adjusting to all these positive things I am finally doing for it. So I am just going to continue on. It would be a lot easier to say, "oh why try, I won't lose anyway"" But this time I am trying and sticking to it. You can, too. I know you can!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Sometimes the number on the scale is just a number. Keep doing the right things and it will pay off. Clothes fit differently. You crave healthy foods instead of the old ones. You are able to enjoy exercise instead of dread it. There are a lot of non-weight things that can be positive about this experience. If that doesn't work for you then my suggestion is to go over what you are eating and see if there is any processed foods, salty foods or anything high in fat. Are you cooking with oil? try broth or water instead. what types of exercise are you doing? Maybe switch it up a bit. Bike riding, walking on trails instead of your neighborhood, weights, kickboxing, zumba, yoga...

T T T. Things Take Time. This is what my grandmother used to say to me whenever I grew impatient about something. My ticker has not budged yet either, so I can sympathize.. emoticon emoticon

for right now stop focusing on the weight scale and focus on making your body healthy by exercising and eating right. Good Luck!
