Well....Here I am into the 3rd day. The tough distraction is finding the right low fat sweets to take the edge off, I'm trying to avoid any major breakdowns over a chocolate treat . So...I'm on a mission.
I follow a low-carb program, so I can totally relate to what you are going through! I've been 33 days now with NO sugar. NO corn. NO wheat. It was hard, but by about day 20 or so - it got easier and easier. I still "want" sweets in my mind at least - but I can honestly say that my body is free from all that. My body has never felt better! I do have a suggestion - to get you through the rough spots. Try an Atkins bar or shake. They have a negligable amount of sugar - they taste "sweet" and they are quite filling. Or, try some low carb ice cream. It is rich and creamy and delish! With only 90 calories or so per serving.
