Spark Solution Day 8

Yesterday was Day 8. It was also Monday and I did my official weigh-in. I lost 3.4 lbs! I am very happy with the results of following the Spark Solution plan, but what I really like is how I feel. I am seriously not having cravings for sweets and I have rarely felt hungry between meals. Except for a few substitutions, I have followed the book closely for meals. One big change for me is all the milk I am drinking. They have you drink at least 1 cup of skim milk every day and sometimes 2. I don't really like milk, but I am making myself drink it and it may become a habit by the end of the 2 week challenge~lol! I have not been doing their exercise plan, but I am exercising.
So, I wasn't sure about Day 8's breakfast~English muffin with ricotta cheese, fruit spread and berries~but it was so yummy and filled me up until lunch time. I also had 1/2 banana and a cup of skim milk. I will definitely make this again~quick and easy! Here's a picture:
Lunch was a taco salad which was really good, but kind of a hassle to pack for work. It was a lot of food and filled me up. I had never toasted my own corn tortillas, but it was easy and tasted almost as good as chips. Here's a picture of my salad after I assembled it for eating:
Dinner was a mock alfredo with broccoli. It wasn't bad, but not creamy enough for my taste. It was just ok for hubby, too, so I probably won't make again. Dessert was 2 Tbs. of frozen yogurt between 2 chocolate graham cracker squares~very tasty treat!
Walk/Jogged for 30 min and also walked to and from work. It was 101 degrees for my walk home and I was so thankful to get into the air conditioning!
