So, this is divided into before dinner and after dinner – mostly because I can’t really plan dinner because I don’t make dinner, so it is kinda like two different worlds.
I had planned out lunch (wild rice blend with peas and dressing) last night, and packed my lunch, breakfast (multigrain cheerios), and 3 snacks (special k cookies and cream pastry crisps, chobani blueberry 0% greek yogurt, peanut butter chocolate chip granola bar). Usually, even when I bring snacks, the chocolate in the office is my downfall.
But today . . . I didn’t eat anything that wasn’t pre-planned. Yay!
I planned out my 3 snack times really well, too: one between breakfast and lunch, one between lunch and leaving work, and one after my long walk (to “reload”).
And, I refilled my (24 oz) water bottle in the middle of the day, and finished it on the way home (and I refilled it 2/3 of the way at home, which I’m almost done with . . . so 8 cups!)
I had a good exercise day, too: walked to train in AM, took a 15 minute break during the day, walked for 30 mins after work. The 30 minute walk was to go see this:
(part of All-Star Game festivities)
While I was on my way home, I was thinking that it would be cool if my friend who was due last week had her baby soon – and when I got off the train, I had a text from her that she had a boy! Super exciting!
(Also, nice to know that I'm psychic
Dinner and Post:
Dinner was not as great as rest of day, but was still pretty okay.
I had a snack after dinner, but it was just a piece of cheese and a cookie. The cookie was okay because I had a good day, so I’m okay with a treat.
I’ve got work to do tonight, especially because I didn’t work at all Sunday or Monday and I’m not available tomorrow night (going to another baseball game). Might do a little exercise before work, but not more than 5-10 minutes.
And that was my day. Overall, it was a GREAT day (or at least a great day by my standards, which is all that really matters)
