What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger!!

Yeah, that was my workout song today. I started my run with it and it kept me going for the next 3 miles. So good.

It's so true though. I have to work to become stronger, and sometimes it will be painful. But hey, a little pain won't kill me and it will definitely be worth it in the long run. I'm not necessarily talking about physical pain, but rather the pain of dragging myself off to the gym when I really don't want to, or cutting myself off after one bowl of ice cream. It can be painful but it's worth it!

Most of the time though, the pain isn't there. Most of the time I love going to the gym, or going for a run. Most of the time I love finding new healthy meals and desserts (yes, some desserts can actually be healthy!) and the only time I really struggle with that is when I have company over or I'm invited somewhere.

And it especially isn't painful when I find out that skirt that hasn't ever fit finally does, or that the number on the scale has gone down once again.

So, to reiterate, what doesn't kill you does indeed make you stronger.

(Just make sure that if you are indeed in real physical pain, you get that checked out, just to be safe!)
