I just read a post from someone and it inspired me. I'm sitting here today still feeling tired from last night and the heat we're having. I've been debating for 2 hours about going to the gym. The post I read said, I am worth it! And I am. I'm worth the time it takes to work out. I'm worth the time it takes to read articles, blog, journal, chat with SP teams. I'm worth whatever effort is required to change my health.
Back in January, I purchased several Living Social deals for an unlimited month of yoga, an unlimited month of barre classes and 5 TRX fitness classes. It's now July. Two of these deals expire in August, so I don't have much time left to use them.
I started my month of yoga last night with a yoga basics class. It was a wonderful class. I had a few back spasms but the teacher assisted me and helped my back relax. I came home and signed up for a class nearly every night/day for the next 30 days. I'm going to take full advantage of this unlimited month of yoga. This location also offer mat pilates classes which is really great for the core and my back. So I signed up for a few of those too,
I have to sign up for the barre classes next...these will be a bit more challenging, but I think around the 15th or so of July, I'm going to add these classes to my schedule.
The TRX classes are the most challenging but I have until October for those. I think I'll take those classes in August or September after finishing the barre classes.
I've gotten some really great deals through Living Social and Groupon. And it's been a great way to try new classes and challenge myself.
I need to keep the mantra "I AM WORTH IT" in my head because I'm starting a new project this week that will have me working about 60 hours a week for the next 3 months. I want to be sure that I continue to work out, watch my nutrition and stay active on SP. So when I'm tired, I need to be sure that I still get at least 10min of exercise in.
It isn't easy juggling a busy schedule, exercise, school, a husband, etc. Life isn't always easy. But those things that are truly important are worth the effort. And I am worth that effort. I am worth whatever it takes to be healthy.
We are ALL WORTH IT!!!!
