I made an amazing pan of mac & cheese with veggies last night. It was low fat and high in protein.

I had forbidden myself this dish because of calories, but it fit in just fine with dinner and nutritional ranges. Yes I know, we're not supposed to forbid ourselves from food items, but I don't have that kind of relationship with food. I've always been a take it or leave it person when it comes to food and have usually only viewed it as a necessity.
I got a very early start this morning with the alarm going off at 4:30. *sigh* I don't use an alarm, but my husband does. I had breakfast & lunch made, dishes from the night before unloaded & put away, kitchen re-cleaned from the morning's mess, a couple different herbal teas made for the day, laundry dried & folded and worked up a very decent sweat by the time I had to start work. I love it when hubby has to leave early, I get so much more done before my work day officially starts. I watched an episode of Downton Abbey from the elliptical which I set to a trough 40 minute program. Then I did one of Coach Nicole's butt work out videos. Man oh man, I have got to recommend that one. WHOO! My buns on FIE-YAA!
Now I'm all amped up and stuck at my desk. I meant to do yoga this morning before work, but it didn't happen. Maybe I'll try a few more of the SP workout videos and do yoga after work.
