Day 2 of the 30 Day Shred...DONE!

I just finished day TWO of the 30 Day Shred and let me tell you...it was really hard! I can't recall a workout that has made me sweat as much as this one does! Even though I'm modifying the high impact moves, I'm still working hard and pushing myself to give it all I've got. I'm not going to just slog through it with a half-hearted effort. Wimpy effort means wimpy results, and I know I'm capable of so much more!



I am committed to making July the healthiest month of the year so far! Last year I lost 71 lbs, but this year I don't think I've lost an ounce. (I haven't weighed myself since last September.) I feel stronger, more toned and more flexible, but I'm still wearing the same size clothes. I'm ready to go down to the next size, and I'm going to work hard to make it happen by the end of the month!



So in addition to doing the 30 Day Shred, I will be continuing with my DDP Yoga. I will also be fanatical about tracking my food, and weighing/measuring my portions. I will do my best to eat healthy, REAL foods, and to eliminate processed food as much as possible. I'm not aiming for perfection; I'm just aiming for progress, and I know that if I really do put forth my best effort, I will succeed!








Healthy July to all my fellow Sparkers! Put forth your best effort and don't be afraid to push yourself. It might be hard at first, but if you keep trying, you'll get better and stronger. You are worth it!

Just what I needed this morning. emoticon

Yes, I did two awesome workouts and pushed myself, pretty far, yesterday. I just wanted to do more and more. emoticon emoticon emoticon

That's the good side!

The other side? Ugh. emoticon Ate some not so great things. Not used to sugar and I had some and boy did I get a headache! emoticon It is all gone now, so...thank goodness.

Today I will be cranking out another two workouts and eating the way I know I should. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

    You go woman! This is my crabby week so I've been slacking a bit, but today I start interval training. Have to get serious because I'm shooting off fireworks Saturday and have to be ready for that so it will be walking mixed with sprints and maybe some jogging. I was working out in the pool Saturday and that was fun, but man, I was tired Sunday. I should do that more this summer too. LOL

    Good for you. I am not sure Jillian Michaels has any "easy" or level one workouts. They go from very hard to dear God you can NOT be serious. They are effective though. Keep it up!
