Day 2 of the 30 Day Shred...DONE!

I just finished day TWO of the 30 Day Shred and let me tell you...it was really hard! I can't recall a workout that has made me sweat as much as this one does! Even though I'm modifying the high impact moves, I'm still working hard and pushing myself to give it all I've got. I'm not going to just slog through it with a half-hearted effort. Wimpy effort means wimpy results, and I know I'm capable of so much more!



I am committed to making July the healthiest month of the year so far! Last year I lost 71 lbs, but this year I don't think I've lost an ounce. (I haven't weighed myself since last September.) I feel stronger, more toned and more flexible, but I'm still wearing the same size clothes. I'm ready to go down to the next size, and I'm going to work hard to make it happen by the end of the month!



So in addition to doing the 30 Day Shred, I will be continuing with my DDP Yoga. I will also be fanatical about tracking my food, and weighing/measuring my portions. I will do my best to eat healthy, REAL foods, and to eliminate processed food as much as possible. I'm not aiming for perfection; I'm just aiming for progress, and I know that if I really do put forth my best effort, I will succeed!








Healthy July to all my fellow Sparkers! Put forth your best effort and don't be afraid to push yourself. It might be hard at first, but if you keep trying, you'll get better and stronger. You are worth it!
