my workouts

Tuesday, July 02, 2013

I finally did my workout last night at 7 p.m. This morning I woke up, and was 223, so a gain.. ahhhh! I found myself wondering if it was from working out, and then stooped and laughed. It was a gain of .4 lbs.

Anyways, my workouts are as follows:

A: M, W,Fr.

Back - one armed row w 20 lb weight - 3 X 12
Shoulders - presses w 20 lb weights - 1 X 10
- lateral w bands - 2 X 10
triceps - dips with body weight off chair - 2 X 10
calves - calf raises on steps with body weight - 3 X 15

B: Tu,Th, Sa.

Chest - benches w 20 lb weights - 3 X 12
biceps - curls with bands - 3 X 10
abs - crunches - 2 X 15
legs - squats with 20 lb weights - 3 X 15

All I have is a pair of 20 lb weights, a flat bench ( not with rack for bench pressing ), and some resistance bands. I am saving up to buy some 40 lb weights for bench pressing, but I limit the amount from my bench, because of my heart problem, and ICD. Using dumbells feels better than a bar, or pushups.

Sunday is my rest day. I am also doing walks on most days. It has been in the 60's with rain lately, though, which makes it easy to skip. I started the workouts because my back was starting to hurt, and I think it was from inaction. I did it all last week, and my back feels fine today, so hopefully that continues.

Have a great day everyone!
